Experience an exhilarating 90 minute combination of adventure boating and wildlife viewing, just 45 minutes South of Perth!
An exhilarating 90 minute cruise to see wild dolphins, sea lions and the ruggedly spectacular Shoalwater Islands Marine Park (45 minutes south of Perth) on our fast & exciting eco- adventure boat before concluding on Penguin Island in time to see the penguin feeding at the Discovery Centre.
Although the exciting ride on our eco- adventure boat will get your adrenalin pumping, the star attractions of this cruise are the wildlife. Shoalwater is home to over 200 local dolphins that this cruise has been visiting for over the past 20 years. You may see mothers looking after new calves, learn how they use stingrays to catch their dinner or watch them ‘tail slapping for baitfish’.
Some days, the dolphins are natural performers and playfully approach our boat to greet their visitors. Other days, the boat may quietly sneak alongside and show you how they sleep! Every cruise is unique and it is always a privilege to see these fascinating creatures in their natural environment.
The cruise returns past Seal Island to visit rare Australian Sea Lions and take advantage of any other wildlife viewing opportunities. Regular sightings include pelicans, ospreys, stingrays, cormorants, terns and more.
The cruise concludes on beautiful Penguin Island, home to WA’s largest colony of little penguins, and includes entry to the Discovery Centre to see the penguin feeding show hosted by an island ranger. You then have free time to explore and enjoy this unique A class nature reserve. Swim, snorkel (bring your own equipment), explore the nature trails or enjoy a picnic before catching the 5 minute return ferry to the mainland at 1.10pm, 2.10pm, 3.10pm or 4pm.

Tour guide was brilliant. English girl? Forgot her name but really easy going, relaxed and knew her stuff
Great trip, was excellent to be lucky enough to see 10 dolphins together and the sea lions and penguin island were brilliant, tour guides were really great
Awesome day. Thank you.
Great fun, great people, great first hand encounter with Dolphins, Seals and Penguins.
The crew on the dolphin watch (Helen and Jimmy) were extremely knowledgeable about dolphins. The adventure was very enjoyable and I would happily recommend it to others and I would be happy to do it again. This was purchased for our daughter's birthday, she loved it! Thanks again.
A fantastic experience to see the dolphins swimming in the wild. And to see a couple of cheeky seals come up to the boat was a special highlight. A highly entertained trip. Well worth the money.
This trip was fantastic and I would recommend it for all ages, it was a very fun relaxing day with incredible dolphone sightings. The staff were lovely and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make the trip fun. I would not hesitate to take family and friends and do this again.
The boat could have gone faster!! Loved it and would happily do it again.
This 12.5 metre boat was purpose built for wildlife viewing and is powered by three 350HP Yamaha outboard motors- it’s designed for speed, safety, comfort and to go where other boats can’t! Covered, open air seating give each passenger an excellent all round view. The open sided design also ensures a direct connection with the environment, rather than being enclosed behind glass, our passengers are right in the adventure- seeing the wildlife up close, feeling every thrill and experiencing the beauty of the marine park first hand.
