Discover the tropical paradise of the Whitsundays with this four day sailing tour. Visit the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, snorkel and explore spectacular reefs, watch picture-perfect sunsets, star gaze and hang out with your new mates on deck. Suited for singles, groups, couples, 18-50 year olds.
If you’re keen to explore the famously beautiful sights of Australia’s Whitsunday Islands and have an action-packed, social getaway, this is the experience for you. For four days and three nights your new home will be a huge sailboat gliding across the crystal blue waters of the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
You’ll kick off day one by meeting your fellow passengers and the three Prosail crew who will be hosting you on board, and set sail from Coral Sea Marina towards the Whitsunday Islands. There is no strict itinerary for your trip, as it will be planned around what your group wants and what the weather conditions and tides permit.
But every tour will visit Whitehaven beach, Hill Inlet Lookout, go on bushwalks, check out multiple snorkelling locations and experience the excitement of sailing.
You could explore both the North and the South end of Whitehaven Beach, soaking up the crystal water, 7km of pristine white shore and sunshine. Visit both Hill Inlet Lookout and South Whitehaven Lookout for the most famous views in the Whitsundays.
You’ll have the opportunity to snorkel at up to six of the most beautiful fringe reef spots in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and (weather permitting) visit an incredible outer reef snorkelling hotspot. There are hiking options that range from 20 minutes to three hours, plus opportunities to get hands-on with the sailing and match-racing between the Prosail maxi-yachts.
Delicious meals will be provided for your whole trip, and along the way there is an optional Island Resort visit for lunch, cocktails and use of their facilities (at an extra cost). Plus enjoy sunset beach hangs at amazing locations like Langford Island Sand Spit, Scrubhen Beach (Hook Island) and Chalkie’s Beach (Haslewood Island).
In the evenings, once you’re all beached out, you’ll head to a spot where you can drop anchor for the night, and enjoy drinks and snacks all together as the sun sets. Then after dinner and dessert, you can hang out and have drinks on the deck, and even sleep under the stars if you’re up for it.
Your Whitsundays sailing trip will be packed with beautiful beaches, views, swims, hands-on sailing experience if you want it, and fun with your on-board mates. Even once you’re off the boat the fun keeps going. You’ll meet back up with the crew and your group of sailing mates at a reserved table with meal deals and drink discounts for a fun after party in Airlie Beach.
