Enjoy an action-packed day of sightseeing and adventure with this day tour of Western Australia's Bungle Bungle Ranges and beyond. You'll take to the skies on scenic flights, explore the Domes Walk by foot, and eat lunch at Cathedral Gorge.
Take off on a one hour scenic flight from Kununurra and soar over the Ord Irrigation Area, the Ord Top Dam wall, Lake Kununurra and the full expanse of Lake Argyle. You'll have amazing aerial views of the Carr Boyd Ranges, Osmand Ranges, the Ord River, the Bow River, and of course, Purnululu National Park's iconic Bungle Bungle Range.
After landing, you'll set off to explore the Bungle Bungles on foot on a moderate 3km guided walk. Explore the famous eroded towers and black and orange banded beehive structures on the Domes Walk. Then stop into the towering cliffs of Cathedral Gorge for lunch before walking along the bed of Piccaninny Creek. On your full day tour around the Kimberley Region you'll learn about the natural landscape and climate, and the importance of this World Heritage Listed area to the traditional custodians of the land.
