Want to add a new skill to your repertoire? How about becoming a fully certified Scuba Diver? Plunge down under and explore the magnificence of the underwater world of any eco system in the world after completing this course. It includes advanced training and 4 scuba dives at Julian Rocks.
Take the plunge and become an accredited open water scuba diver at one of Australia’s top dive sites, just a few kilometres out of Cape Byron. Julian Rocks Marine Reserve is home to over 400 species of fish, three different species of sea turtles, blue gropers, wobbegongs and more marine life and colourful corals than you can keep track of. Exploring this underwater world and getting your diving certification is an absolute must-do in Australia.
You’ll start your three day, entry level diving course with online training that covers the basic principles of scuba diving. Once you’ve finished with the theory, you can gear up and get in the water. Practical training begins in a pool, where an experienced instructor will help you master basic scuba skills and get comfortable using the equipment. Breathing underwater can take some practice but you’re in good hands!
When you’re ready, the boat will whizz you over to Julian Rocks Nature Reserve where your instructor will guide you on four dives over the three day course. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the spectacular underwater sights, while gaining scuba diving experience and confidence.
On completion of the course you’ll be a certified SSI Open Water Diver, meaning you’re free to go scuba diving anywhere at any time without an instructor!
