Get the ultimate shot of adrenaline as you jump solo out of an aeroplane! To become dive ready, you will need to complete on ground training including classroom theory, practical exercises and an exam before taking the invigorating leap of faith on your own, accompanied by two instructors.
A solo skydive is an incredible experience to tick off your bucket list. This experience gives you all the training and guidance you need to complete this thrilling adventure and is Stage 1 towards becoming a licensed skydiver.
Day one features six hours of training, including classroom theory, drills, practical exercises and an exam, to make sure you’re prepared for your jump. Day two starts by going over what you learned the previous day one more time, before you get on a plane and take off your skydive.
You’ll take in breathtaking views over the Hunter Valley wine region, as well as Newcastle’s coastline. Once you’ve reached altitude, the doors will open. Two instructors will accompany as you leap from a height of up to 14,000ft, feeling the adrenaline rush of freefall as you plummet to earth. You’ll open your own parachute and steer yourself to the ground (while in communication with an on-ground instructor).
