    Fitness and Experience

    • Those taking part must to be able to swim, but there is no other assumed knowledge!
    • Minimum age is 12 years old

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Bathers, towel, and all normal beach attire and items. You will be provided with all other equipment!

    • Safety on the water
    • Familiarity with SUP equipment
    • Safe carrying of your equipment
    • Basic paddle strokes and turns
    • Correct posture and position whilst paddling
    • Safe entry and exit from the water
    • Using the paddle for stability
    • Advanced strokes for turning and catching waves
    • The St Kilda paddling environment
    • Basic core fitness workout
    • 90-minute session, 30 minutes instruction
    • SUP equipment: Stand Up Paddle Board, paddle, leg rope, lifejacket (if needed), wetsuit (if needed) and rash vest
