Whether you’re an absolute beginner or just looking to up your skills, surfing lessons along this pristine coastline are the ideal experience for anyone keen to get salty, sandy, and adventurous.
Surfing isn’t just about paddling technique and balance, it’s also a lot about knowing how to pick the right conditions and where to surf. So in your two hour surf lesson you’ll hone your practical surfing skills, as well as your general ocean knowledge and awareness. Enjoy expert coaching from experienced and passionate surfing instructors in a small group of similarly-skilled beginner and intermediate surfers. You’ll be taken through everything you need to know, from paddling correctly, picking and catching a wave, and standing up on the board, with plenty of opportunity for personalised guidance from your coach.
During your lesson you’ll get out on the water to put your skills to the test, and potentially catch some waves. Plus you’ll visit multiple beaches along the iconic Great Ocean Road and Bellarine Peninsula to gain an understanding of how to judge the surf conditions. By the time your lesson is finished you’ll have experienced some of Australia’s best surf beaches and be well-equipped with the crucial knowledge you need to continue your adventure towards pro surfer.
