The lessons are suited to beginners and conducted in waist deep water to get you familiar with the water and surfing. Learn the basics of surfing from navigating the ocean, paddling, catching white water waves and the best stand up technique to ride a wave. All surf coaches are qualified in surf safety and provide a fun environment for you to learn how to surf with premium soft boards, wetsuits and rash shirts all supplied for you as part of the surf lesson. Port Stephens Surf School operates surf lessons daily from Hannah Parade, One Mile Beach at 2pm on Mondays and Thursdays and 11.30am for the remainder of the week.
