Match the Beer & BBQ menu to great Boutique Beers from around Australia and gain understanding of how each beer is best suited to each course. We teach you how to successfully use the roasting hood on a BBQ and how to cook effectively when entertaining for a group. The delicious Beer & BBQ menu includes the following:
Turkish Bread with Pukara Balsamic and Oils
BBQ Half Shell Scallops with Nahm Jihm Dressing and Crunchy Salad
Jamaican Jerk Beer-Can Chicken with Sweet Potato Wedges
Cape Grim Scotch Fillet with Feta, Basil and Pea Salad
Dark and White Chocolate Lava Pudding with Cream and Balsamic Strawberries
The Chefs will discuss BBQ cooking and cover all the important methodology around temperatures and resting meats to ensure that you will really impress when you next entertain at home. We then get straight in to demonstrating the first dish where you will replicate the dish demonstrated by the Chef and prepare and cook the dish yourself.
We sit down together as group to share in the first dish before embarking on the next Beer & BBQ dishes covering all parts of BBQ myths and secrets as well as a demonstration before being given the tongs and lifters to re-create your recipes yourself.
Throughout this segment the Chefs will guide you through preparing and cooking each dish as well as answering any questions you may have about the dishes or challenges you face at home with your own BBQ or certain recipes!
We will send you home knowing that you’re a qualified BBQ expert and will be crowned in glory by friends and family when you entertain at home.

Lessons are attended by between 12-20 students (plus 2 experienced chefs) and take place from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Centennial Park Sydney. In busier months we also offer an afternoon session from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
The class includes all ingredients, light refreshments and a fantastic meal to enjoy together. The classes are both a demonstration and hands on experience to ensure you have the confidence to replicate the dishes at home.
This experience is best enjoyed as a participant. To ensure maximum space and comfort of booked guest we do not have spectators for this experience.
