Spend two days exploring some of the most beautiful attractions that Far North Queensland has to offer, starting with a full day cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, with the opportunity to snorkel and discover a beautiful underwater world, and day two is a day of exploring lush tropical rainforests.
Tick off Tropical North Queensland’s two stunning World Heritage Listed locations in two fun-packed days. On day one you’ll take a full-day cruise to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, with plenty of chance to snorkel, while day two is focused on exploring the region’s tropical rainforest.
Your Great Barrier Reef cruise takes place on the award-winning vessel Evolution, and you’ll make an early start for the fast journey to visit two of the reef’s best snorkelling spots.
The friendly crew will supply you everything you need, from the all-important snorkel equipment, plus lifejackets, wetsuits and foam noodles if you need them. They’ll also be on hand to give you in-depth information on safety, techniques and site orientation, so you can relax and focus on exploring the huge variety of tropical fish and coral. All that snorkelling and fun works up an appetite, so after the first reef you’ll pause for a delicious hot BBQ buffet lunch, including meat, seafood, salad and vegetarian options.
Day two puts the focus on rainforests, as you head to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree National Parks with your knowledgeable guides. Feed the kangaroos at Wildlife Habitat Park, enjoy a guided tour of Daintree National Park and the incredible Mossman Gorge, then head on to Cape Tribulation. This is the only location in the world where two-world heritage listed regions – the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree National Park – are next to each other. Round off the day in style with a Daintree River cruise to see crocodiles and a variety of wildlife.
