Just 30 nautical miles off the coast of Perth, Perth Canyon is the site of the largest aggregation of Blue Whales in the southern hemisphere. Between April to May you can see these magnificent creatures on a whale watching cruise that will take you right into the heart of the marinelife hot spot.
Leaving from Fremantle, you’ll spend about seven hours on board a luxury, purpose-built catamaran soaking up the spectacular views, the wildlife-spotting, informative commentary, and lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
Prepare to be stunned by the sheer size of the Blue Whales - the largest mammals on earth - as you cruise around their feeding spot. Your tour guide will fill you in on all there is to know about the Blue Whale, from their behavioural nuances to their annual migration patterns. Plus, Perth Canyon is also a feeding haven for other marine creatures like sharks, dolphins, Pilot Whales, sea lions, and plenty more, so keep your eyes peeled.
