I booked in the Off Road V8 Race Buggy experience located between Brisbane and The Gold Coast for my brother and I. Going in, I was a little nervous as I haven't done anything like this before, but I came out of it learning a new skill and finding a new thrill. The instructors were super helpful, guiding me through the whole course while also letting me try it for myself. The track was great fun, with lots of windy turns and even a ramp that gives you some airtime if you are brave to go fast enough. Couldn't recommend more 🤗

What you can expect
Experience the thrill of extreme driving with six driving laps and two hot laps around a purpose-built Gold Coast circuit in a V8 off road buggy. You'll jump into the driver's seat and master the powerful 4 litre Lexus V8 engine as you hit the track with professional driver coaching you round every turn, then swap and get the professional experience as your instructor takes your for a hot lap.
V8 race buggies are an epic adventure to satisfy your inner petrol head. They have the powerful V8 engine, 15 inch BTR rims with Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's, plus power assisted rack and pinion steering. Best of all, these Buggies are genuine race vehicles. They're raced competitively in Extreme Off Road and Desert Races all over Australia - including in the famous Finke Desert Race. Rev yourself up for the ride of a lifetime.

Inclusions
- Drive six laps in a V8 off road buggy
- One hot lap riding shotgun with an instructor driving
- Drivers briefing where your instructor will explain to you the rules and condition of the track
- Professional instruction
- Morning or afternoon tea
- Racing overalls
- Full face helmet with fitted intercoms
Time
- Session times are 10am and 1pm, Monday - Friday
- Please ensure you arrive on time as you may need to complete some paperwork prior to your briefing
- You will need to allow to be there for the whole four-hour session depending on the final number of drivers in your group
- This is not four hours of driving time.
Departure Location
- This experience operates at 109 Loves Rd, Alberton QLD 4207, Australia
- Located just 40kms south of Brisbane, and 30km north of the Gold Coast. Just take Exit 38 off the Pacific Motorway onto Jacobs Well Road, then on to Loves Road.
What To Bring
- Comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day
- Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
- Footwear must be enclosed
Additional Information
- You will need to allow to be there for the whole four-hour session depending on the final number of drivers in your group. This is not four hours of driving time
- These mean machines can operate in most weather, however, for your safety the experience provider does not operate in extreme weather. If conditions are unsafe the supplier will contact you via SMS or phone call as soon as possible to reschedule your experience.
Terms And Conditions
- Minimum age is 12 years
- No license required
- All passengers and drivers are required to sign a waiver of liability form (ages 12 - 18 years will need a parent/guardian to sign on the day)
- Maximum height is 203cm and weight 140kg
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Rev head fun
A lot of fun, well run and organised. Instructors very helpful and encouraging. Safe environment and as there are only a handful of cars on the track you really got to go flat out. Arrive early to get to the start of the queue for your turn in the car. 10 laps wasn't enough it just went too quick but I felt I had value for money.
