Take the plunge and go snorkeling at one of Australia’s top dive sites, just a few kilometers out of Cape Byron. Julian Rocks Marine Reserve is home to over 400 species of fish, three different species of sea turtles, blue gropers, wobbegongs and more marine life and colourful corals than you can keep track of. Exploring this underwater world is an absolute must-do in Australia.
If you’re a complete beginner to snorkeling, there’s a complimentary snorkel lesson in a heated pool you can opt into before the tour. Then once everyone’s ready, the boat will whizz you over from The Pass to Julian Rocks Nature Reserve, where you can put your skills to use.
Jump in and swim with the sea turtles - they’re very chilled and happy to float around with you. You’ll be supervised by qualified dive staff who will make sure you’re comfortable and making the most out of your hour of snorkeling. Getting close to sea turtles and seeing all the spectacular underwater sights of Julian Rocks will seriously take your breath away!
