    "The Shadow Initiation" is an exciting adventure game based at the South Australian Museum!

    Race against the clock! You have 60 minutes to complete puzzles, tasks and challenges around the South Australian Museum!

    • Race against the clock to solve puzzles, tasks & challenges at the South Australian Museum
    • A puzzling initiation test that takes you throughout the South Australian Museum
    • Groups of up to 4 work as a team, using a tablet to navigate the challenges (try and win your way to the top of the leaderboard!)

    You and up to 3 friends will embark on a mission throughout the Museum, undertaking challenges, puzzles and tasks in order to earn points.

    The more points you earn, the more likely you are to join the ranks of The Secret Order of Quill & Compass. The Shadow Initiation will require you to think outside-the-box, work in the shadows and prove your thirst for adventure.

    Only the elite will join the Order. Are you worthy?

    • Wheelchair friendly
    • You will require at least one player who is able to read and is a fluent English speaker
    • Whilst playing the game, you are responsible for the tablet you are using to play. Any negligent treatment of the device may result in a financial charge to you. All devices are installed with security tracking mechanisms. You will be required to return your device promptly to the Museum Shop at the end of your game

    More Information

    The Shadow Initiation is designed to challenge, and there is a wide variety of puzzles and tasks, some easy, some hard. Points are allocated accordingly. We require the person hiring the tablet to be 16 years or over (this person will need to leave ID or a credit card with Museum Shop staff) but we believe that kids 7 or older will be able to actively participate, with a guardian's help.

    The game is wheelchair friendly, suitable for hearing impaired and only available in English at the present time.
