The easiest way to get to Jervis Bay from Sydney is by car. The journey typically takes less than three hours. Much of it is a scenic trip with great views along the appropriately names Grand Pacific Drive.

Getting to Jervis Bay from Sydney without a car isn’t a problem as there are multiple public transport options. You can take the train from Sydney’s Central Station down the coast to Nowra (or other South Coast destinations), which takes a few hours and gets you right to the edge of the Jervis Bay region.

Though a slower way to travel, you can also reach Jervis Bay from Sydney by bus - or a combination of buses. There are also shuttle services between Sydney Airport and NSW South Coast destinations like Jervis Bay available seven days a week.

Nowra to Jervis Bay

The journey to Jervis Bay from Nowra is a relatively easy one. By car it’s approximately 20 minutes to the coastal town of Huskisson and a direct bus service also run between the towns at various times of day.
