Immerse yourself in the habitats of iconic Australian animals at Port Douglas' Wildlife Habitat. From furry to scaly, big to small, you'll have an amazing day amongst an array of animals. Join a number of feeding tours and presentations to see and get up close to the resident creatures.
Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas is home to hundreds of native and endemic Australian animals, and you can enjoy the ultimate wildlife experience when you visit. The sanctuaries emulate the natural habitat of the animals, so you can have a look into how these amazing creatures all exist out in the wild.
Enjoy a day exploring the vast grounds of Wildlife Habitat, spotting koalas, kangaroos, crocodiles, native birds and plenty more. The zoo is split into five distinct tropical north Queensland environments: the Woodland, Wetlands, Rainforest, Savannah and Nocturnal. Look out for the different animals as you wander around elevated boardwalks and pathways through their habitats. You can also join any of the many daily feeding tours with the wildlife keepers, and be a part of feeding time for a range of different animals at times throughout the day.
It’s a great Queensland activity for families and anyone excited by unique Australian animal experiences!
