  • Description
    • Be a blacksmith for a day
    • Use hammer and tongs to forge red hot steel
    • Create your own pieces to take home

The Artisan Blacksmith experience is a day at a commercial blacksmith forge, where you will use gas-fired forges to heat steel up in forges that reach temperatures over 1500 degrees and then use hammers and anvils to beat these into artistic pieces of your very own. If you have ever imagined forging a sword or a Viking axe - this is where you start. The beginners course is the pre-requisite for further workshops where your imagination is the only limit. The modern forge uses gas forges, power tools, Grinders, linishers, polishers and the incredible "Big Blu" Power Hammer, as well as traditional tools such as hand hammers, anvils and tongs to provide a contemporary experience that will set you up to make your own masterpiece.
