    If you're looking for an epic mountain biking adventure, you won't want to miss the world-renowned Smithfield MTB Park. Located just a 20-minute shuttle ride from your Cairns City or Northern Beaches accommodation (or 50 minutes from Port Douglas), a shuttle bus will pick you up and take you to the trailhead with your choice of hire bike - either a dual suspension or an e-Bike.

    With more than 60 km of green, blue and black-rated trails that twist through the spectacular vine-clad jungle, over clear-flowing streams and along jagged ridges that overlook the Great Barrier Reef, this mountain is perfect for thrill-seekers who want to experience the excitement of un-groomed single trails, including the same trails used by the elite CRANKWORX crew during the annual MTB World Tour held at this park.

    Fitness and Experience

    • This tour is able to be tailored to the guest's riding ability, however, it is an active tour
    • To enjoy your half-day adventure to the fullest, some mountain bike/cycling experience is preferred, with a moderate level of fitness
    • A minimum of two riders is required for the tour to run
    • From time to time we have multiple groups on one tour, however, our guide-to-rider ratios are kept small to prioritise rider safety and comfort
    • Our bikes come in a range of adult sizes (S to XL)
    • Rider minimum height and maximum weights may apply

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Clothing suitable for bike riding, cycling shoes or sneakers
    • Sunglasses or riding eyewear

    More Information

    • A minimum of two riders is required for the tour to operate
    • If no shuttle pickup has been organised the tour departs from Biked Palm Cove, please arrive at 8:30am for bike setup
    • Please allow half a day for this experience. Tour duration is 8:30am to 1pm (approximately)
