So if you’re keen to see them for yourself, head out on a dolphin watching cruise and you and the crew can track them down together.
Starting from Adelaide’s Glenelg Marina nice and early, you’ll set out into the beautiful surrounding coastal waterways and start searching. Enjoy cruising around on a mighty 58 foot sailing catamaran with a friendly crew there to give you a briefing about the day and informative commentary as you go. Sometimes you spot dolphins within minutes of leaving the marina, and other times it takes a little longer to seek them out, but that’s the nature of wild animals and it’s completely worth the wait.
As a dolphin ‘watcher’ you’ll have an ideal view of any dolphin encounters just by the boat, so you won’t miss a moment of the magic. You’ll cruise around through beautiful scenery from about 7:45am to 11:30am. This cruise provider boasts an average of over 40 dolphin sightings per trip, with some trips seeing over 200.
