Set off to the open sea for an awesome day of reef and game fishing. Suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers, this five hour fishing charter will have you catching a variety of bottom dwelling and pelagic fish species including mackerel, marlin, snapper, tuna and many more.
Fishing is one of Australia’s favourite national pastimes, and for a good reason. There’s something uniquely satisfying about casting a line and waiting for a bite, and Australia has some of the best and most beautiful fishing spots in the world. So indulge your inner-fisherman with a half-day charter out to explore the fishing hot spots of the Gold Coast Seaway.
When we say ‘half day’, we actually mean a full five hour session on a charter boat that takes you out to the deep sea reef spots where the best catches are waiting. You’ll set off onto the water either bright and early or late morning for your epic fishing adventure, with a small group of only about 12-16 people maximum. With the small group size, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to receive fishing guidance and instruction from the experienced skippers and deckhands. Whether you’re a beginner or a fishing pro, this deep sea reef and game fishing charter is suitable for all experience levels.
Out in the hotspots that you’ll be travelling to, you’ll have the opportunity to fish for bottom-dwelling species like mackerel, marlin, snapper, tuna, cobia and plenty more. All of your bait and fishing tackle will be provided and the boat is fully equipped with all the safety equipment, a toilet, padded seats and cover from the elements if the weather turns. All you need to do is show up and get ready to catch yourself a winner.
The fishing trip was everything I was hoping for and a bit more. Very well taken care of from the moment you step onto the boat until the moment you are off. Spectacular views of the Gold Coast out on the water. Had a few dolphins hanging out with us the entire day. As far as I’m aware every person on the boat caught a handful of fish. 5 Stars. 10 out of 10. 2 thumbs up, would absolutely go again!
