Go fishing for one of Queensland's most prized fish at the Daintree Saltwater Barramundi Farm on this catch and release fishing trip. For one hour you'll be guided by experts in catching prize barra, and you can either release or pay to take home your catches.

The Daintree Saltwater Barramundi Farm grow their fish in over three hectares of earthen ponds filled with saltwater from the Daintree River, which replicates the natural habitat of the barramundi. On this land-based fishing adventure you'll have the opportunity to try to catch barra up to and over one metre in size. There are rare speckled and abino barramundi, and even some monster Mangrove Jacks.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, expert fishing guides are on hand to help you perfect your techniques. There is even a fly-fishing option for those who are up to it. You can either release your catches - unharmed from barbless hooks, pay to take them home, or buy prepared fillets on ice.
