Gain the necessary knowledge and skills to scuba dive up to 18 meters in open water in this Gold Coast scuba entry level diving course. Prepare to open up new adventures and opportunity wherever you travel with the certification you need to explore the underwater world – across the globe!
In this 3-day Gold Coast open water scuba diving course, you’ll take part in exciting entry level diving activities divided into 3 segments: Academic training, confined pool training and open water training. Learn to breathe underwater and gain experience through a series of theoretical and practical training.
Academic training: learn the knowledge and basic principles you need for fun and safe scuba diving.
Confined pool training: discover the basic skills of diving in a practical diving lesson.
Open Water training: demonstrate your scuba diving skills with the opportunity to practise in a typical diving environment.
Once you complete the course, you will be awarded your PADI Open Water Certification card, allowing you to dive to a depth of 18 meters throughout the world. It will also allow you to hire scuba diving equipment from dive stores. The PADI Open Water Certification is valid for life, so you can scuba wherever, whenever.
This experience will run in wet weather (you're going to get wet anyway). If the provider cancels due to dangerous weather, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Please note, there will be other participants on this group experience on the day.
Important Information
A $90 fee is required on arrival which is used to cover books and PADI registration. The 3 half-day course spans a total of 3 days. This is a group experience - there will be other participants on the day.
This Gold Coast diving course will go ahead in wet weather (don’t worry – you’ll be diving!), but in dangerous weather the provider may cancel, in which case you will be given the option to reschedule or get a full refund.
Day 1: Session starts based to the scheduled time.
Day 2 onwards: Session will begin earlier at 6:00 a.m.
