    Your stand up paddle lesson begins with a safety briefing and basic instruction followed by a demo by instructor for a full visual of what to expect. Then we get you out on the water to experience walking on water for the first time.

    Have a little time to get your balance on the board, go over some paddle technique tips and then off we go for a meander around the waterways of Surfers Paradise. Enjoy the calm water and having photos taken along the way.

    Learn more about paddle technique to enhance your paddle speed and try different stances and turning techniques.

    Fitness and Experience

    • Minimum age 8
    • No experience required
    • Must be able to tread water (life jackets available)
    • Low to medium fitness required 

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Wear whatever you feel comfortable in - gym gear or swimwear suitable (no denim)
    • Bring drinking water
    • Sun protection
    • Rash vest or long sleeve T-shirt
    • Towel
    • No footwear required whilst paddling
    • Suitable area for spectators

    What is Supplied

    • We supply all stand up paddle equipment including board, paddle and leg rope
    • Life jackets are available on request
    • Paddlers should allow 2 hours for this experience
