Only 60 metres long, the delicate Ribbon Cave is a unique experience. It is filled with exquisite formations. Also, its historic features let you ‘step back in time’, providing a completely different atmosphere to the Orient Cave.
Its low, narrow passages let you closely examine amazing formations, including ‘helictites’, ‘rim pools’ and the exquisite beauty of the ‘lily pads’.
In 2011, the Ribbon Cave tour was revitalised using the latest lighting technology, enabling you to see the cave formations as they have never been seen before. The environmentally friendly lighting system uses less electricity and minimises heat output, conserving the sensitive cave environment.
