Load up a kayak and paddle away for the weekend during this fully-guided two-day tour. With everything you require provided for you, including meals, equipment and incredible, photo-worthy vistas, this adventure will give you the opportunity to discover nature and perhaps rediscover yourself.
After meeting your guide, being issued with your gear and listening to a detailed briefing, head off along the various sea and riverscapes that shape the South Coast. Keep your eyes open for eagles soaring, dolphins playing, fish jumping and whales breaching as you navigate to an otherwise inaccessible pocket of coastline where you will set up camp for the evening.
Once you've arrived you can enjoy a coastal walk, a swim, or a snorkel, or just kick back and get into the groove of life in the great outdoors. Your guides will assist you in setting up camp and give you a tour of your remote accommodation, before preparing for you a wholesome, locally sourced menu for your evening meal. Once you've had your fill, head off to your cosy tent or sleep out under the stars, lulled to sleep by the sound of gently lapping waves.
The next morning, when the warm light of the rising sun and the scent of coffee brewing wakes you from your slumber you have the choice of joining your guides for a morning stretch before breakfast or enjoying a sleep-in with no traffic or obnoxious neighbours to ruin your relaxation. There’s really no rush. After a delicious breakfast, you’ll pack up camp, load your kayak again, ready to continue your sea kayak adventure, exploring new places depending on the prevailing winds.
Your tour concludes mid-afternoon at a new location, a giant smile plastered on your face and a deep sense of achievement as you board the bus back to town.
