    Embark on a journey up the Bermagui River on a three hour guided kayak tour led by expert guides. Following a safety briefing, it's time to grab your paddle and double kayak for an adventure on the South Coast. Begin with a paddle past mangroves which are often a hive of activity. 

    Witness herons foraging in the shoreline and cormorants drying their wings on tree branches up above. At the halfway point, you'll pull over to the riverbank to enjoy a delicious morning tea including plunger coffee, black leaf tea, seasonal fruits and gluten free caramel slice. Stay cool with a refreshing swim before the return journey back to shore.

  • Experience Details

    Fitness and Experience

    • Minimum 4 guests, maximum of 10
    • Any travelling parties with participants under the age of 8, must book a private tour and not join our group public tours
    • Our expert kayak guides are able to assist everybody in entering and exiting the kayaks safely and with dignity
    • Must be able to bend knees to comfortably sit in kayak
    • Guests hip width should not exceed 50cm when seated to comfortably fit inside the touring kayak. Please let us know at time of booking if this is a concern, as we have alternatives and can use our sit on top kayaks
    • Trained assistance animals are not permitted inside the kayaks for safety reasons
    • There are no toilets at our meeting spot, the closest facilities are on the South West side of the Bermagui River Bridge

    • Shoes that can get wet and comfortable clothing
    • Any personal medication needed
    • 1L Refillable water bottle as a minimum
