Head out for an adventure on the Great Barrier Reef with this incredible sunrise kayaking tour. Explore the colourful reef brimming below the surface as the early morning light filters over one of the greatest natural wonders in the world - and you’ll have the best seat in the house!
Heading out from the coastal suburb of Palm Cove, Cairns, you’ll get comfortable paddling in the kayak before heading out into the open water. Following your experienced and friendly guide, your tour group will paddle over to Double Island Reef. Below the water is like a scene straight out of Finding Nemo and you’ll stop to check out the famous turtle spot, where most of the time you’ll find green turtles and hawksbill turtles hanging out.
Then the adventure continues as you explore the mangroves in your kayak before making a stop on Double Island. If you’re keen to check out the colourful reef world up close, you can go for a swim or snorkel here.
