  • Description

The “Sharks Tooth” section of the Mitta Mitta River provides the best summer rafting in Southern Australia with the longest grade 4 rapid commercially available in Victoria.

Lower Mitta River White Water Rafting

An enormous volume of water being pumped out of the Dartmouth Dam creates a deep fast flowing river with big waves, giving conditions similar to the rivers of New Zealand and Canada.

On this trip, you’ll tackle rapids such as The Weir, Rollercoaster, Sharks tooth part 1, 2 & 3, as well as the worryingly named “Raft Eater” - and many more.

Sharks Tooth is the most challenging rapid, at 350 meters long with waves up to 2.5 meters high with a vertical drop of 8 meters, you will be on a white water high!

Between rapids, our guides will entertain and challenge you with fun water activities, including the chance to take the plunge from a 6-meter cliff jump and swim in pristine pools.

All preparation and instruction for this fantastic summer journey are is delivered by our experienced guides to make sure you are thoroughly prepared for your descent.

River shuttles, equipment, guides and lunch are all included! Just bring your sense of adventure for the great outdoors and come along on a trip not to be forgotten this summer.

As our river experiences are offered in the outdoors we are subject to environmental changes, if these changes result in excess or insufficient water for our craft to safely negotiate the river the raft type or the location of the trip may be altered or your trip may be rescheduled.

Kristian and smitty were fantastic 5/5 ensuring our safety at all times and ensuring we had a great time however the adrenalin site needs to reflect the address and details more accurately. Rafting aust provided the correct details immediately once booking was confirmed.
