  • Description
    • Seek out great white sharks and see them from beneath the water
    • Spend the day out on the water with meals included
    • Choose to go cage diving with sharks at an extra cost if they're sighted

Feel the thrill of seeing Great White Sharks in real life and up close at The Neptune Islands, South Australia. This adrenaline-pumping full day shark sighting tour is the perfect opportunity to face your fear and bring Shark Week to life with underwater viewing areas plus the opportunity to cage dive with the sharks at an extra cost if they're sighted.

After being treated to a delicious early morning breakfast you’ll jump on board the specially designed sightseeing vessel and head out from Port Lincoln Marina to ‘Shark Bay’ at Neptune Islands. On the way, see the spectacular scenery as you cruise through the Thorny Passage and look out for dolphins and local seabirds.

To attract the sharks, this eco-friendly tour uses audio sound vibrations instead of blood and fish - and ACDC has proven to be some of the sharks’ favourite music! Then it’s time to come face to face with the iconic great whites. The modern vessel comes equipped with a unique six person submarine shark viewing area that gives you incredible underwater 360° views without getting wet.

Plus, if sharks are sighted and you’re up for the adrenaline rush, you can also jump in the water and swim with sharks! If the great white sharks arrive you can opt to get into the cage to actually swim with these endangered species for about $175, and dives generally last 45 minutes.

Whether you get in the water or not, the opportunity to see these terrifying apex predators up close in their natural habitat is the thrill of a lifetime.

This experience is part of our Low-Footprint Adventures range because it’s ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.
