Your action-packed day includes an exciting 90-minute scenic flight from Darwin to Jabiru, a spectacular cruise down the East Alligator River, a visit to incredible ancient rock art sites, and a delicious lunch. Combine the fun of exploring by air and water for an unforgettable experience of Kakadu National Park. 

    Taking off in the morning out of Darwin you’ll enjoy amazing aerial views over the Northern Territory, over Adelaide River, Mary River National Park, Kakadu’s winding South and East Alligator rivers, coastal mangroves holding back massive floodplains, and the Arnhem Land Plateau on the Eastern side of Kakadu.

    After landing in Jabiru, hop onto a boat with a local guide for a 1.5 hour cruise down the East Alligator River. You’ll be in the thick of the World Heritage wilderness, where you can see the abundance of park wildlife and learn all about the local Aboriginal culture as you go. 

    You’ll also visit Ubirr to explore the ancient Aboriginal rock art sites and take in the views of the floodplains to the west. Enjoy a delicious packed lunch from Aboriginal Bush Traders that showcases Indigenous bush foods before heading back to Darwin.
