Coined as one of the most iconic surfing destinations in Australia, Surfers Paradise is the perfect place for a fun-filled group surf lesson for beginners. Over the two hours, your skilled surf coach will teach you the basics of the water sport from ocean safety to the correct paddling technique to catch a wave.
The Gold Coast surf lesson will begin on the sand with a safety briefing before heading out into the water to put all the theory into practice. Surfing lessons are conducted in shallow, waist deep water to keep it safe for first timers. After catching some waves, you will return to the sand for a more detailed demonstration of how to stand up. For the remainder of the lesson, continue working on your newfound surfing skills.
