    Get out on the water and feel the exhilaration of riding the waves with a two hour beginner group surf lesson. Learning to surf is like an Australian rite of passage that locals and visitors alike need to experience. So get started or take your beginner skills to the next level on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. 

    You’ll be surfing the waves at Coolum Beach, which is just 90 minutes north of Brisbane and boasts great surf and some of the warmest waters in Australia. It’s any surfers dream spot.  

    For two hours you’ll work in a group with a friendly and accredited surfing instructor on improving your skills. Whether you surf a little bit already or are an absolute beginner, the lesson can accommodate your level to help you get the most out of it.  

    All your surfing equipment will be provided on the day, so all you need to do is show up and get pumped to take on the waves!

    Fitness and Experience

    • Minimum age is six years old 
    • You must be able to swim 
    • If you have any medical problems (e.g. Asthma, allergies, back, knees or neck problems) please advise instructors at the start of the lesson 
    • Each participant is required to sign a disclaimer before the events starts 

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Swimwear and a towel

    • Wetsuits or wet shirts

    • Ratios of instructors to students is 1:8 
    • This is available as a private surf lesson for groups of one, groups of two or groups of three 
    • Each participant is required to sign a disclaimer before the events starts 

    Cancellation Policy

    • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
    • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
