It’s time to get adventurous with this varied morning in the gorgeous natural surroundings of Pittwater and the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, north of Sydney. You’ll kayak, bush walk and swim, so it’s a great form of really fun exercise.
The day begins with a quick safety briefing, then it’s time to get you kitted up and take to the water. Your destination is the remote western foreshore of Pittwater, accessible only by boat. Be sure to look out for local wildlife, including turtles, seals and dolphins along the way.
You’ll arrive at a quiet beach and then it’s time to take a bush walk through the national park, with awesome views of Pittwater, Palm Beach and Barrenjoey Headland. Guides will share information about the Aboriginal and European history of the area and your group will explore a cave with Aboriginal artwork before heading to a stunning viewpoint.
Grab some memorable photos, recharge your energy with a light snack and take in the 180-degree views. Then it’s time to head back to the beach to chill and enjoy a swim. Paddle back across the water and end your adventure with me lunch at a local cafĂ© or even enjoy a picnic in the park (at own expense).
