    For those who prefer 'one on one' instruction, private lessons are the way to go. The lesson moves at your pace with the coach able to provide valuable feedback every step of the way. The session is tailored to your specific requirements and suit any level of surfer. Both surfing and bodyboarding private lessons are available.

    All lessons - beginners through to pro - progress through the skills of surfing according to the students' abilities and previous experience. The instructors will start by checking the surf conditions with you and lead into the warm up to prepare your body for a session of surfing fun, entertainment and improvement. As it is a private lesson, you will be one on one with a coach, who will help you with anything and everything you need to know. 

    You can also bring a friend, for an additional $50 per lesson.

    Fitness and Experience

    • Come one, come all and learn the basics or improve your techniques all the way to pro level
    • We cater for any skill level but participants must be able to swim and feel confident in the water
    • Fitness is a definite advantage

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Bring a swimsuit & towel 
    • Wear clothes suited to the weather on the day 
    • Remember to pack your sunscreen and lip balm 
    • If you are an experienced surfer, bring your beloved board as well

    What is Supplied

    • 1 hour private lesson, one on one with an experienced instructor
    • All equipment including a surfboard suited to your abilities and size and a wetsuit
    • For beginners we use soft, stable surfboard which are easy to balance, paddle, stand and surf on
    • Professional and friendly surf instruction
    • We recommend you bring as little as possible.
    • You can also bring a friend, for an additional $50 per lesson.

    Cronulla Beach is located about 40 minutes from the CBD. It's one of the few suburban beaches accessible by train. It's an idyllic seaside suburb with a real village atmosphere. You'll find a magnificent stretch of uncrowded, white sandy beach running from North Cronulla up to Boat Harbour.around 5 km. We have the most diverse variety of surf locations, each suited to differing conditions
