How to get to Margaret River 

The Margaret River region is just a short three-hour drive south from Perth. Whether you’re visiting this unique part of Western Australia from interstate or landing at the airport from overseas, it’s a destination not to miss.

To clear up any confusion, Margaret River is the name given to a town (9 kilometres inland from the Indian Ocean) and the region as a whole. Both of those are named after the river of the same name.  The Margaret River region extends from Dunsborough and Busselton in the north to Augusta in the south.
