Cape Tribulation Full Day Adventure - Departs Cairns

Due to Cyclone Jasper, access to the road leading to Cape Tribulation has been restricted. Our tour includes all activities except for the final 10 kilometres of the journey to Cape Tribulation Village.

Head out of Cairns for the day to explore the incredible World Heritage-listed sites of Cape Tribulation on this full day adventure tour. You'll explore the wilderness on a rainforest walk, stop to admire Mossman Gorge, experience a Welcome to Country ceremony with the land's traditional owners, and spot crocodiles on the banks as you cruise along the Daintree River.

Kick off your adventure in the morning with a stunning coastal drive past sweeping views of the Coral Sea from Cairns to Port Douglas. Your first stop is Mossman Gorge, the iconic natural landmark where pristine and powerful waters flow over granite boulders amid the lush greenery of the rainforest. Participate in a Welcome to Country with the land's traditional owners, the  Kuku Yalanji people, which intends to cleanse the bad spirits with a smoke ceremony.

Continue on to Cape Tribulation for lunch, before setting off on a guided walking tour along the Marrdja Botanical Boardwalk through the ancient rainforest. Stop at an ice cream shop and the amazing Alexandra Range Lookout, then jump on board for a wildlife cruise on the Daintree River. Look out for crocodiles that are often basking on the river banks as you go. Your return journey to Cairns includes a quick drive through Port Douglas to finish off your big day of adventure.
