    Get out for a full day adventure tour through the spectacular natural beauty of Litchfield National Park. Departing from Darwin, you'll be guided on walks past waterfalls, rainforest, historic sites, and natural plunge pools where you can jump in for a swim. 

    Your tour kicks off with a high viewing platform to see the double falls of Florence Falls, before you can make your way down for a dip in the natural pool. Continue on with a guided walk through lush bush and monsoon vine forest, and stop at Tolmer Falls to admire the view and spot the colonies of rare bats. After lunch at Litchfield Cafe make your way to Wangi Falls for another opportunity to swim and Magnetic Termite Mounds for a great photo opportunity. This is the perfect way to see this not-to-miss part of the Northern Territory.

  • Experience Details

    Fitness and Experience

    • A low to moderate level of fitness is required for this experience
    • Florence Falls has a 160 step staircase down to the swimming area, or there is a viewing platform at top of the falls if you do not wish to swim
    • Tolmer Falls is a flat walk of 15 minutes each way
    • Wangi Falls is an easy five minute walk through rainforest

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Enclosed walking shoes
    • Warm layers in cooler months
    • Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen
    • A water bottle to hold one litre
    • Swimmers and towel if swimming

    • This is a full day tour departing around 7:25am and returning around 6pm
    • Departs daily April to November
    • December to March, departs Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
    • For bookings from 1st of November 2023, all visitors must pay a compulsory $10 Northern Territory Parks fee per person that is NOT included in the tour price and needs to purchased prior to departure

    • Please Note: From October to April the falls may be closed to swimming due to heavy rains. Please check the National Park Websites for more details
