    Soar over a stunning landscape with colourful hot air balloons dotted across the morning sky, and watch the sun rise over Queensland’s magnificent Hinterland region. With a complimentary hotel pick up around 4am from the Gold Coast, professional guides will ensure you are delivered to the pre-dawn launch site in time for a magical sunrise hot air balloon flight. Witness the impressive scene of balloons as they are inflated to a height taller than a ten storey building. Snap the incredible sight before climbing into the hot air balloon for a magical flight over the Scenic Rim and the Gold Coast. 

    Breathe in the fresh air and sweeping views of the famous Gold Coast hinterland and Scenic Rim of one of side while catching glimpses of the towering Gold Coast skyline on the other - it's the best of both worlds! Look far below as you soar over lush rainforest, waterfalls and national parks, before you touch back down for a delicious breakfast at a local winery.

    Fitness and Experience

    • Children must be a minimum of three years old to travel on the balloon flight  
    • Children up to the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the balloon flight 
    • Children aged 13-17 years old can travel on the balloon flight by themselves, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the rest of the tour including bus transfers 
    • You must be able to climb up the 1.2 meter foothold ladder into the hot air balloon basket without assistance 
    • You must be able to stand for the duration of the flight 
    • The operator will not carry passengers who have participated in a scuba dive the night before their balloon flight 
    • The operator will not carry pregnant passengers 
    • Passengers with medical conditions should check their suitability to fly prior to booking 
    • The operator recommends that disabled persons seek medical advice before participating 
    • At no time will a passenger be allowed to fly if their judgement is impaired by alcohol, drugs, or prescription medicine

    • Please note: The hot air balloon flight is 40-60 minutes in duration, depending on the winds of the day 
    • Pick up is available from accommodation in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach between 3.50am and 4.30am, or you can meet at Nerang or Canungra 
    • The hot air ballooning Gold Coast experience including champagne breakfast will conclude between 9.45am and 10.30am 
    • All bookings are weather dependent, and in the case of bad weather your booking will be rescheduled

    Cancellation Policy

    • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
