If you want to experience what Victoria has to offer, this full day tour of the historic Puffing Billy steam train line and Healesville Sanctuary is the perfect choice. Heading out in the morning from Melbourne, you’ll be taken to the picturesque Dandenong Ranges region north-east of the city. Here you’ll climb aboard the Puffing Billy - a century-old steam train - and enjoy a scenic ride through the ranges and rainforest. In the custom-designed open colonial train carriage you can even dangle your arms and legs out the side as you ride!

After your Puffing Billy train experience and a delicious Devonshire tea with handmade scones in the Sherbrooke Forest, it’s time to visit Healesville Sanctuary. Explore one of Victoria’s premier wildlife sanctuaries, which is home to over 200 native Australian animals. Look out for wallabies, wombats, koalas, kangaroos, dingoes, platypus, native birds and plenty more. At the end of a big day of exploring and a completely unique experience, you’ll be taken back to Melbourne in the early evening.
