You’ll be jumping from epic heights of up to 15,000ft, safely strapped to your experienced and professional tandem instructor. Countdown together then prepare to be plunged into freefall for up to 60 seconds at exhilarating speeds of about 200km/h.

You’ll be flying through the air over a pristine Newcastle beach with the most incredible views all around you. Enjoy the initial rush of speeding towards the coastline below, then sit back and soak up the peaceful canopy ride once your parachute has been deployed. The aerial views of the lakes and beaches of Newcastle combined with the thrill of falling makes this experience unbeatable. Experience Details
Fitness and Experience
- For safety reasons, the experience provider needs to be advised if you weigh greater than 94kg. Any client weighing 94kg or more must be assessed by our Drop Zone Safety Officer on site to determine safety issues due to harness size restrictions and weather conditions
- Every customer is weighed as part of the check in procedure, and surcharges will occur and are payable on the day at the rate $50 if over 94kg; $75 if over 105kg and $100 if over 114kg
- Weight surcharges are payable on arrival. Maximum weights vary, depending on the Dropzone. Please check this when making a booking
- By law the minimum age to tandem skydive in Australia is 16 years old. SA must be notified in writing prior to the jump date if a customer is between 16 and 18 years of age and must have parental or legal guardian consent
- Skydive Australia must be notified prior to the jump date of any pre-existing or existing medical conditions, injuries or illnesses. You will also be asked when you check in and may require an assessment from our Safety Officer
- Medical conditions which could affect the customer’s safety should be discussed with a doctor to ensure customers are fit to skydive. If required, bring a medical certificate with you from your doctor confirming you are okay to participate in a skydive
- Please advise the supplier if you are taking prescription medication
- No alcohol or “recreational” drugs are to be consumed within 8 hours prior to the scheduled skydive jump time

- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
