    • This camel ride in the outback is not suitable for people who suffer from ongoing back issues or those who have recently had hip replacements. It is also not suitable for those who are pregnant

    • You should bring a water bottle – just because camels can go days without water in the desert doesn’t mean you can too!
    • Wear a hat and sunscreen
    • Bring a camera for some incredible pictures!

    This camel ride experience takes approximately 1 hour, with departures at 12pm and 2.30pm. Each Australian camel can sit 2 people – this is a twin share experience. Children under 3 go free but must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap during the camel ride.

    The tour departs at 21259 Jane Road, Alice Springs, NT 0870 which is roughly a half hour drive from Alice Springs. Alternatively, you may organise free transfers from your accommodation in Alice Springs with your experience provider at the time of booking.

    You should be aware that the desert environment of the outback is fragile. Human interaction can cause disturbance to wildlife, so to reduce noise pollution, limited commentary is available during your camel tour.

    If poor weather conditions affect your experience, your tour provider will be in touch to reschedule your booking date. If a situation arises out of the control of the experience operator that forces the tour to be cancelled, you will be fully refunded.

    Once your experience is booked and confirmed, any changes made to your booking are at the discretion of your provider. Any changes must be made with them directly in accordance to their policy: Cancellations made within 7 days of your experience date incur a 100% cancellation fee of your total booking fee. Cancellations made with 7+ days’ notice incur a cancellation fee of 30%.
