Self Defence for Men Is aimed at empowering men to deal with violence they cannot avoid and shutting it down decisively and effectively.
This self-defence session will help to decrease your chance of being a victim in a violent crime and includes instruction and practice of techniques to deal with an aggressor who is usually physically stronger than you. You will cover topics including avoidance and preventative measures, fight or flight and emerge with powerful and effective techniques for combating classic assault and restraint-hold situations.
Predators look for a weak victim, and this course will teach you to be strong and confident through training - attributes which will flow into other areas of your life.
Your instructor will be Greg McKenzie, former celebrity bodyguard and personal trainer to the stars. Greg has experience in boxing, kickboxing, mixed martial arts, professional bodybuilding, fitness training, and is an ASA qualified coach, level 4 personal trainer and ASCA strength and conditioning instructor.
You don't need years of martial arts training to develop self defense skills calibrated to the everyday world. Learn to deal with the fights that come to you and leave no option to walk away.
Sessions are held at a gym in Surry Hills (gym entry fee included in the price). You'll enjoy state of the art facilities and train amongst the champions.
