    Get out on the water for a day on board a charter boat for a fun three hours of fishing for snapper – one of the most prized fish in Australian waters - around Geelong near Melbourne. You’ll head out on the tides on a partially covered, hulled vessel with all food, bait and tackle provided. 

    Jump on board the ‘Sidewinder I’. This fishing trip is suited to ages 14+ and any skill level, so round up your crew or your family and head out. Lunch is included and there’s a bar on board (Pending liquor license application), a snack bar and plenty of fish to be caught. 

    Your captain will supply you with premium bait and Shimano rods and reels as well as insightful knowledge about fishing in the area. You keep any legal-sized fish you catch (bag limits do apply) and they can be filleted and packed on ice for you to take away.

    Fitness and Experience

    • Participants must be at least 14 years old 
    • Participants under 18 require an adult to accompany them 
    • All participants 18-69 (exemptions apply) are required to have a valid fishing license available online from the VFA website 
    • There is a licensed bar on board (Pending liquor license application)- participants must be 18 years and older to consume alcohol; photo ID may be required 

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Although the vessel is covered, participants are exposed to the elements, so it's advised to dress very warmly in winter (hat, scarf, gloves, coat, covered shoes) and in summer to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen 
    • Handwarmers and sunscreen are also available for purchase on the boat 

    What is Supplied

    • Three hour recreational snapper fishing charter 
    • Premium bait and tackle (Shimano rods, reels, lines, hooks and sinkers) 
    • Plenty of food (BBQ sausages in bread, salad, fruit, hot jam donuts) 
    • Unlimited water and coffee, tea, and hot milo to start
    • One drink from the licensed bar on board (Pending liquor license application)
    • All legal-sized fish you catch are cleaned, filleted and bagged for you

    • Maximum 6 vouchers can be used on any one charter
    • During Apr-Aug inclusive Snapper is unavailable due to season.

    Cancellation Policy

    • Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
    • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
